I have an unmarked EKII of three piece construction with magnetic core. It appears to be a wide frame when compared side by side to other EKII. It measures 45mm across and arm width is 26mm. It also is a near match with two marked 24's I have. Based upon that I think it's an unmarked 24.
However, there is one notable difference. The beading directly adjacent to the swas has been sheared. It is best seen on the reverse side picture.
Cross feels solid and date heights look OK so I'm not thinking Floch, but just haven't seen this before. Have any of you had experience with this sort of construction?
Frame is not separating...just slightly offset on 12 o'clock arm giving shadow and impression it is lifting.
Any opinions appreciated. Thanks in advance.
