      Hi!

The crosses from Godet became very expensive. In one of the last updates Niemann sold an 2nd class for 150 €.
I'm happy to own one EK 2 mm21 because i don't want to pay these new "hardcoreprices".

      Regards
      Andreas

I think the 21 marked versions, especially in an EK2 may be even harder to find.

              I think you're right.

It was really much luck that I got the IC 2nd class mm21. In a small antique shop which I only found because i had gotten lost, 5 iron crosses 2. Class were in the offer and i couldn't believe my luck as i saw the maker mark of Godet.

I white myself that it sounds like a fairy tale, but it was happened really in the way as I wrote.
That was one of the rare lucky days in a collectors life.

              Regards
              Andreas

That's how it often happens and what makes this hobby so interesting.

I've never seen this pin set up before on a WWII Godet. Must be very early, especially being marked 21. Looks more like the WWI pin. Very nice!

If it was very early, wouldn't it be unmarked?

                              Exactly.

There has been an influx of '21' marked EKII's lately and say what you like, I'm not comfortable with them, this EK1 included.

I know when most people say 'not comfortable with' or 'this isn't one I would have in my collection' usually means. Interesting!
