EK i screwback-opinions , please.

hello guys! please, let me know what do you think about this ek I. this cross is a screw-back version, marked, and unissued. It has been in a collection for over 30 years and was purchased as an original item although I am not 100% positive that it is a pre-1945 piece. However, I do believe it to be correct since it was assembled from separate pieces and has a magnetic center. The back is also in excellent condition and has the manufacturer's marks at the bottom of the cross, L55.

Also, just to clarify something in my mind...is the mm L55 or L/55?

wow! thanks for your help! is the same cross, except for the mm. in my cross only appear the numbers. without the rectangle.... but the cross, front and back, are amazing.
what do you think about this mm?

Douglas 5...thanks for posting the pictures. Having reviewed them I believe it to be an authentic cross. However I would appreciate it of those with more experience than I would comment. I see lots of folks have viewed this item but no definitive opinions expressed. Before this thread sinks out of sight can anyone help milo 1881 out here?
