I have to defend Detlev Niemann in this case, because his source was an old, great collector with lots of contacts to the KC-veterans world, and there was no reason for DN to suspect that the grouping was put together. All parts were original and there was even a document with Runge´s close combat days. A good source we all thought... Today we know better. Groupings are put together round a document or war time photo. As long as all parts are originals, it´s impossible to tell – unless a guy like Casey76 turns up and unveils it all!Comment
