Yes, it's Pawe Nowak he's using the email: shipwrecks.research@yahoo.com

Somehow he got a list of collectors and sent to email to many people. here's his email:

        Hello:

Ich biete deutsche Auszeichnungen/Insignien, Helme und Bajonetts/Daggers an (WK1 und WK2). All die Gegenstände sind originell und in gutem Zustand. Ich verkaufe sie zu einem sehr günstigen Preis.

I have some German Insignia/Medals from WWI and WWII and a few German helmets from WWI and WWII in a good condition. There are also German daggers. I have also a few bayonets and swords for sale: japanese arisaka, and three french bayonets: Chassepot, Grass and Lebel. I would like to sell them for a reasonable price. I also have a japanese swords (katana and tanto) with the blade from XVIII century. If you could have an interest, let me know.

        Regards.

I looked at the photos, but the prices are to good to be true. I searched the Forum and of course he's a well know fake peddler.

            Hope no one gets burned!

If you have a good relationship with any of the larger banks, you can have the bank Trust Officer hold your payment and take delivery of goods. Once the goods have arrived, the Trust Officer will allow inspeciton, supervised. If you are satisfied, the Trust Officer makes the bank transfer or funds and, upon confirmation of the transfer, will turn over the items.

It does cost a bit, but it is a fine way to make a large transaction with little risk.

If the items are not satisfactory, they will be re-wrapped and shipped, by private carrier (usually Fed Ex) to the owner. Again, worth every dollar paid, for that security and service.

Why take the pics off the thread? I believe another member of another forum is considering the same SC and directed them to this thread but the pics are gone so now it will be harder to be sure if the cross in question is the same one.

if anyone remembers the cross in question.

I got that too in a private message on my Axis History Forum account. Thankfully I ignored it and had no intention of inquiring. Having now read this thread sealed it

he just goes around the various militaria forums and searches relatively new accounts with few posts i guess, i got emailed twice to two diff accounts, one i used to register here, another i used to register on GD forum both very soon after i joined up. He must be a member on both, if you use the email function does it mention its an email from a member of WAF or is it just a normal email format??

No its just a normal e-mail adress,
nothings look like that it came from a WAF member.

Only one strange thing, the subject title:

                                Buuzert,

thanks for the tip! I checked his IP and e-mail and I'm sure it's him. He is now suspended till judgement day - for obvious reasons.
