In an effort to find some company for his big brother, I managed to find this in Fort Worth.

For some reason nice 65's are harder to find than I thought.

I saw that too, Dave -- er, Larry. If I didn't already have such a set I would have gotten it. Instead, I settled on this nicely aged "3" marked Deumer EK 2, and for a good price too!

I was glad to get this piece, as all of my other Deumers are near mint. (It seems that finding a worn Deumer is as hard as finding a nice K&Q!)

A fine pair of crosses gents! Both great examples in their own way, Larry's for the clean crisp frosting and mirrored frame against the nice matt core and George's for the honest, hard worn 'been there, seen that' veteran look. You don't have to study that closely to see the die flaws either!
Out of interest, my first Deumer was a worn cross and I've only just picked up a near mint example.
