                      Agreed..........Ribbon may be suspect though, it looks too wide. Those ties look new and never worn.

                          Thanks for the comments in regard to the ribbon.

                          Here is a shot of the ribbon with another KC ribbon from a Junkers Cross, and a ribbon from a War Service Knights Cross.

                          They are all the same width. The one in the middle is the ribbon from this Cross.

                            Here is also another shot of the ribbon ends with the ties.

                            They indeed, do not seem to have been worn, but the condition of the Cross would appear that this one was not worn much, if at all.

                              Good looking Cross and a seldom seen varient of the maker mark!!

                              The 'ties', are another story and I think Harry hit the mark with his observations.
