Thought I would show this nice item. I believe it to be a tombac based piece from what I have read on them. Came cased as well which is a plus.

Here's one more '43' KVK that should totally solidify the authenticity of your badge, not that you should need it, but just to add one more example. The '43's are really easy to identify, even unmarked, by their broad non-tapered pin and textbook hinge and catch characteristics...
