Just popped up on gun site, $275 shipped, but photos are just bad enough to make me wary, fronts look strange and possibly repainted? Opinions please.

I really couldn't tell from those pictures although i must say they look a bit strange to me too. If they're the only pictures a seller will supply then i'd pass on them anyway.

These gun auction sites seem to be a convient venue for dumping either poor conditioned items or out and out 3rd Reich fakes. If you find an occasional good item the reserve is usually at or near the retail value. There's one Midwest seller with hundreds of transactions on Gunbroker and I've yet to see him offer a legit piece.
