    Opinions on this EK1 please!!!!

Hi all. I've just got this one from Germany. I don't know if it's original, though it seems to be a real one, am I wrong? Otherwise, as I only paid 60 EUR for it, I knew that it had something special: it have had the core repainted in some parts and the swastika (without colour) seems to be smashed or so. Maybe they tried to denazify it, because there are parts of the frame that are a little bit polished. What do you think? Would you keep it in a collection?

Another question: I was told that it was a typical 65 manufacturer iron cross (Quenzer & Klein). Is that right?

No, this cross is not a '65' K&Q, but a Paul Meybauer, and an original. For the money you spent it's up to you whether you keep it or not. It's in pretty rough condition. An average unmarked Paul Meybauer would run close to $250.00 USD.
