Is this Sunburst piece also known as the clamshell? are both the same?

any idea who made this?

I have done some searches and found it comes in shinkel version too.

would like to hear any comments

well, you are definitely off-line now

Sunburst = Clamshell.

The date on the cross reminds me of Deumer, who also made Schinkel crosses with the sunburst disc.

I studied the other threads about the shinkel clamshells but did not notice the dates.
now I know I have a Deumer "clamshell"

will think of Seafood everytime I look at this cross
