I just got off the phone with the author Stephen. I started looking into picking up a copy of this book last night, sent a personal email and recieved prompt responses from Stephen right away, in the middle of the night no less! This morning he left me his number and I gave him a call. We had a good talk and I have a signed copy #300 on the way. Seems like a great guy and I was impressed by the personal service. Can't wait for the book.

Let's hope your step-brother gains the interest as well!
Hope he appreciates it.. I tried to get my self a copy of it for more than a year!

We NEED new blood in this hobby. Twenty more years we'll all just be trading our collections around. What's new?
Yes, last summer when he came from Montana for a weekend visit, he sat and looked at every one of my EKII's with a 10X loop, really studying the differences in every cross. He used to collect the EK's years ago, but financial difficulties hindered him from going further. Maybe with the kids gone he can resume the sport. I'm hoping to have a 'nearby' collector friend. Montana to WA is 'nearby'.

ok I'll play devils advocate.
Andrew is a friend of mine and I have seen his collection (sans Iron Time 2) and I know how nuts he is - God love him but here is the question:
"What is the demand at the moment for a signed / numbered Iron Time 1?"
I would put it to the forum (unless someone can prove otherwise) that at this time desirability = nil, content (due to some errata and being less content than IT2) inferior.
What I'm trying to say is all you guys who spent money on IT2 numbered and signed, what's going to happen when version 3 comes out when Mr P is short on cash again?
Sorry to put it so bluntly but, well, its a book! Don't get me wrong I'd snap it up in a second if I didn't have everything else to collect to take into account
