hey gang! a wonderful little old lady with a very thick accent walked into my shop yesterday with a bag of things she said belonged to her father. She said she was going into a retirement home and needed to get rid of it or she was going to throw it out. I asked if she had any of his uniforms or helmets or anything and she said she did... so this group might be getting bigger. enjoy!

the EKII is "KO" marked on the ring

the service cross is marked with a "W"

the wound badge is marked "DRGM"

the stick pin is not marked


she also brought in his dog tags

Iv always wondered, about those pins.. (the one directly above the wound badge)
Where they private purcheses? if not, did one get a pin together with what ever type of award? and were these pins restricted too use in WW1 only?
