Japanese Made DKIG

Hello all,
We all know the Japanese made Iron Crosses during the war for the German KM crews that served in the Far East.

I was told the Japanese made DKIG's in Singapore/Malaya?!

anyone owns one or heard about this fact?

I don't know of this taking place, but the Japanese awards were generally just cast from originals. It would be much harder to reproduce a DK this way. The Japanese are known for the quality of their decorations, but this didn't carry over to the German awards they produced.
