EK1 screw back info

Hi

First post so I'll keep it short

My friend has a screw back EK1, he's not sure if its real or fake, did the makers only ever stamp them with numbers or did they ever stamp their actual name on them? as his is stamped Deschlersohn.

Also the screw back isnt like any of the pictures I've seen, its got multiple flutes on the back, there are no numbers stamped anywhere as far as he can see.

I have never seen an Iron cros with markings "Deschlersohn" I only know about short numbers L58,L13,L11,ore just numbers.To make it short
I think your Friend has an Fake cross but Pictures would help to say anything about that cross from your friend.

I have never seen a real EK marked "Deschlersohn" but I have seen many polish fakes marked that way.

Ok thanks for that, I'm no expert but I told him pretty much the same.

I'll get pics of mine up, I hope mine is real, I'm fairly confident.
