            Not raptor fake

I do not think this one is a Raptor fake. I have posted pictures of one side by side. I do see a difference between this one and a Mayer the beak on the Eagle is a little long. the one one the right is a Raptor fake.

I personally don't like the non-uniformity of the feathers of the wings, the right and left sides compared:

It is a Schickle clasp? I would bet it is. Who has one? Look at this thread.

Dennis, I was just getting ready to post the same photo. Boy, was I wrong. It is an Otto Schickle. I'm learning from the photos I've gathered from the other thread...

                    Hi Robert,
We all learn here. I knew I saw a bird like it before.

                    Hi Jon,
                    Was this a test?

There's a lot to learn. That's why I started the thread last Friday calling for all 1st class spanges. I need to get them imprinted into my brain too. There's just too much to learn.

This is something I don't know. Sorry. But I do like the clasp!

no, but turned into a good lesson for us all. I took a quick glance and thought: raptor with fake inscription, let's show the boys on WAF!
I ALWAYS overlook L/15s, and have never had one in my hand to inspect closely. The similarities with the raptors puts my mind in a spin...
I think what I need to do is keep a crisp raptor in my pocket at all times for reference.
                            regards
