    Dotted DKiG

    Well the negotiations are finished....

This one is going to be tested and the result made public. The principal offers it for $1,000.00 now, taking a loss of $1,000.00+( himself ) if the Cross turns out to be period.

    Interested parties...just PM me.

    The results should be interesting!

Don, it's not I who will be testing but another collector! Likely, the same equipment used to test the so called 'late war' Juncker DKiG with a look see at the enamel, wreath and red stripe.

Well done Dave. Kudos for the efforts. and your expense.

                  However, being the Devil's Advocate:

... I'd be very leary of the results reported.

The guy heading up this test has absolutely, positively deemed these post war from day 1. If he were to find that they were period, this would be the ultimate "eat crow" scenario in the history of collecting. Something I find 100% unlikely he will EVER allow to happen.

I'd sure feel alot better if a neutral party was leading the testing and reporting of results.

This whole process is like asking the Good President of Iran to lead and report the findings on an investigation as to whether the Holocaust really took place.

                    hello darrel

but a officiele test is 100 % fair and can not be manipuletet.(good english)
when this is done by a officiele reschearch center i personely see then no problem who leads the test.

                    regards johan

We'll see Johan. I sure hope so.

Like Dietrich once said .. you don't test two items from thousands to make a final judgement, whatever the case may be. Not scientific by any means ... but as long as the result is what he wants, that's all that matters to him.

So everybody knows whats going on:

It's not Dave buying, paying or conducting the tests at all. The cross is bought by Tom Hansen and Dave is only acting as a middle-man for obvious reasons.

I have not the slightest doubt that Tom Hansen will make the report available without any additions or substractions. We will know exacyly what it is.

a good point darrell a test is only good with several pieces.
but we know in this moment not one result of that specific type.
and think you really that they ware made in the thirdreich period that t.h from the u.s.a will not say that.

                            regards johan

There is no doubt whatsoever that the results will be public and timely...
