I have looked it it 3 times already, and frankly I still don't like it.
The cross itself LOOKS ok, but the spange looks completely off.
It's my gut-feeling and I may be completely wrong, but I would pass on this one.

The things that jump out at me on this one are: the wings of the eagle are completely different in shape, especially evident in the straight on reverse photo. The frame on the EK doesn't look great either. The lower edges of the frame on the 9 and 3 o'clock arms is really thin in comparison to the rest and also the finishing in the corners where the arms meet is really poor. Then there's the last shot where it looks like someone has jammed a screwdriver between the frames? Overall the quality just isn't there for me, it looks too 'rough' for an award of this type.Last edited by Adrian; 04-03-2007, 04:00 PM.Comment

I dont like it either. I'd guess someone's taken the front and core of a good WW1 EK2 and wacked it on a fake-ass 'back-piece'... good idea from the faker's viewpoint, but the spange is heinous
