    EK1 for discussion

    Hello all,
I would like opinions on this cross on estand. A buyer decided he doesn't want it and I don't want to have any questionable items for sale. I will post 2 links; the first to the sale thread, and the second to the thread where this cross was already posted.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I know Souval Framed crosses came with a variety of cores, so I Know no frame/core combo is the one and only type.
        Thanks,

          Core is nonmagnetic.

I thought the cross looked okay, possibly cleaned at some point. Might just be the pictures though.

                Hi Guys,
This cross has a glossier paint then I am used to seeing. That probably doesn't matter though.

                  Hello,

I would like to see a sharp pic of the date.

Reverse reminds me by the first glance on Rettenmaier.

I believe so, but not for certain about all the others. The pin I have seen the most for wartime Souval pieces has been the type on the cross which opened this thread.

                            Hello,

I am not sure what manufacturer has made this cross.
It is a conglomeration of a lot of different pieces from different manufacturer.

                            Core: Friedrich Orth
Frame: typical Souval, but has been used from Orth as well.
Pin: as already mentioned, looks like Rettenmaier style.

I guess it has been made by Orth or Souval.

to me the cross is a textbook "Orth".
