    Ohhhh boy,,, Im cringing on this one, a cased L/58 KvK 1st class with swords, Im batting -200 or -300 with anything dealing with L/58..lol.. Comments welcome and appreciated, thanks.

                  Hello Van,

                  The cross planchett is left over WWII stock that was fitted with attachment pin post-war. Souval sold these, in original cases, and when the originals were used up, the new production pieces were made. It is easy to see that the pin is the post war Souval type. The post war planchetts were fitted with the cut-out catch and the same post-war pin.

                  So, at least the basic planchett and case are WWII produced.

                      Let me correct my last statement. There are old threads where most of the "old timers" (besides Bob ), who don't like this reverse setup as Pre-45 either.
