    Like George aluded to .... it would be interesting to see the seam of the frame. I seem to remember some cross or badge in the past that had been messed with and was put together backwards or upside down.

    Too bad this one wasn't maker marked to match the core. I have a sneaking feeling something was done "post war" rather than during wartime.

    It does have some beading flaws though

      But looking at some of the pics it does look like its spliting arond the edges or indeed its been apart at one point.
      I had on ethat was like this some sides where good, nice and flush and the others were well out of line, but my core was up the right way

          You realise that if you paid $350 for it then everyone would be splitting their $100 ek's and turning the core upside down to get 3 times more money for them....

            BTW ... I have a rare MINT EK2 "100" that was manufactured by a drunk factory worker ... only $325 US (Remember .. dealers are selling these for far more)
