Is this maker 71 or 77?

By font structure alone I would say 71. Notice the diagonal rise of the 7 that does not appear in the other.

Yes, I would also think 71, but I am never sure about these maker marks to be honest and I have misread them in the past.... Cheers, Torsten.

It does look like an 71 to me, yes! Sadly I do not have a MM: 71 cross to compare it with
