    Tan Packet for EK2

While I am on a roll tonight...
Can anyone post a picture of a tan paper packet for a 1939 EK2? There is one on page 54 of Gordon Williamson's book, but I would like to see an example in color, and maybe next to an EK2 for comparison. Thanks in advance.

      My packet

Thanks for the pictures. It may just be easier to post what I have and look for some feedback.

The reverse has no maker mark. This picture is upside down. The packet is more like a sleeve with no fold over part like the blue envelopes.

              Bill,

Thanks for the pictures. Is the packet maker marked? If it is can you post a scan? Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much Bill for resizing my picture!

Sad to say I haven't mastered how to do it myself.

                Thanks again,

                  Allan,
You have just one first prize for the biggest picture ever posted on the Wehrmacht Awards Forums!
I have just picked up an award packet for the U-boat badge on ebay and, like Jerry's, it also has the envelope type flap at the top (bottom). I was wondering if this is a correct variation as I haven't seen it before, most packets having the triangle type flap. Anyone else have this style of packet?

                  Cheers,
                  Brett

                      Jerry,
I only have a pic of the front at the moment, and as such don't know if there is a maker mark on the back. If you want to email me I can send you the pic that I have. My email address is brett504@hotmail.com.

                      Cheers,
                      Brett

I found a packet like this, this old thread really does not explain if they are good or not.

                        Anyone know about these?

                          Envelope

It looks like a Maria Schenkl envelope missing the top flap, which is where the makers stamp was. Here is my example.
