    S&l Rk

    Hi folks,
I am posting these images of my S&L RK. It is hallmarked 4 935. I obtained this piece back in the mid 1970's. After I got the RK I was offered $375 for it and was told I was crazy by several collectors for not selling it. I am glad I didn't.
    Regards,
    Jody

Here is the reverse. On this RK, the 4 935 hallmark is upside down. Notice the finished ends to the ribbon loop.

All jokes aside, very nice piece indeed.

            Nice One

            Nice one Jody....
The 935/4's are some of the best as far as quality goes (IMO).
I'll post some images of mine this weekend to keep the thread active !
Interestingly, your cross is of the speckled core coating variety.
Thanks for posting the pics.... just goes to show, that these have been great investments, and show every sign of continuing to be !

Congratulations Jody. Very wise choice not to sell it. I wish I had kept my collection from the mid-seventies.

I have heard, that there are approx. 30000 "originals"on the market.

                    Hi

                    Hi Jody.

What a fine piece that is, nice one!

My advice is don't part with it, regardless of what you are offered.

I was an absolutely ardent collector of coins when I was wee during the 70's, why the hell didn't my dad get me into militaria???

Every time I ask him these days, he just gives me THAT look.

                    Y'know....the 'problem child' one!

That is a magnificent cross. You did well to hang onto that one! Thanks for showing it to us. This is what a Steinhauer & Lück RK should look like.
