    S&L A-Type RK recognition?

Hello to all you RK experts. Just for my own info could you please clarify the die fault found on the 12 - 9 O'clock knee which distinguishes an S&L RK as an A-Type? I've trawled all of the previous threads which discuss this topic, but cannot seem to find a picture that points out the defect.

Is it the ridge that I am indicating below? Or something totally different?

Your help is, as ever greatly appreciated.

You are looking for the "dent row" which tells you its a "b" type right away

This thread shows it very clearly: http://wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/s...d.php?t=205799

If it doesn't have that feature it is an "A" type.

Hi Sal, thanks for the reply. I know what makes the B-Type as opposed the the A-Type, and the B-Types are quite obvious to spot. It's just that I've seen references made by Dietrich to a defect on the A-Type's at the point I previously mentioned, but I am not sure what I am looking at?

      See http://wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/s...%26L+A-Type+RK thread No 4.
