Ha. I was busy on the e-stand last week selling some things to buy this beauty. Isn't this nice? It's got real honest wear to it. It's incredible how much work went into making the catch alone on this piece. The front isn't frosty, but it shines!

A question: when we speak about early ones, untill which year do we speak then? 1941?
I read different posts about early pieces, late-war pieces,...but is it possible to put a date on it?

I really couldn't say, Nico. All I know is that these fully embossed images of the KVKI with swasi on lid are early-war production. That is all I have heard. The question of date has been brought up before, buy I don't remember anyone giving an actual dateline on it. Sorry.
