Yes this is an interesting one. The obverse looks completely correct. the catch seems a little thin where it is soldered to the cross. I would like a better pic of the whole pin closed but I understand you don't have the cross. The mark is very odd. I would get better close up pics before buying it. If it is a fake it is very well done. I would have to say I think it is original, but I would not buy it without having a bunch of close up better pics.
