I received today a knight cross which came with a group of documents of a former Luftwaffe pilot who was a knight cross holder. Original or fake? I don't know as I am no expert in KCs. Any opinions would be very appreciated.

I don't need a refund as I didn't even expect to be part of the group I bought. I was surprised to find it together with the documents which are 100% original.

Hi Roger, even from these far off pictures there are many things. Like Dion said, dipping ring, the crude shape of the frame, plus the fact the loop is just plain wrong.

When the docs are good, Id be happy as anything to recieve that as a bonus!

Thank you all for your expert information! It helped a lot.

Although it is not original it still looks nice next to the documents and most of the people who are going to see my collection won't be able to tell the difference, but it is good for me to know what exactly I have in my collection.
