      Hello

The first one, (L/14 ?), is, in my opinion, a fake. The second one I'm sure I've seen this exact bar to the EK in another thread very recenty. Let me have a look and I'll get back to you.

      Regards
      David

No, I wrote wrongly - not L14 but L12.Also the second letter does not see correct man.

          Hello

The first one shown is still, in my opinion, a fake. I base this on the overall lack of quality, the shape and style of the swastika and the date numerals and, from what I can see in the photo, the lack of 'veins' on the wings. The overall look of the bar just doesn't look right. Sorry, just my opinion.

Still looking for the second one. I have definately seen this exact bar very recently and want to find it.

          Regards
          David

          Edit:
I knew I had seen it recently. It's in this thread:

          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=203491

which I replied to at the time saying that I thought it might be a Deumer. Any chance of some straight on, closer in shots please.

yet another style of L/12 fake I'm afraid.
I've never seen that hinge set-up on any original spange
              and
I'm away from my 'files' at the moment, which I always like to check before I give an opinion, but I 'think' the second one is an accepted original pattern. I'd like to hear more members opinions before it's a done deal though. There are quite a few of these on the web at the moment, and I'm not 100% on it, and without my reference material my mind retains info for about 2hours max these days...
              regards

..... or maybe both for lack of caution
