Hi All..
I wonder if anyone can help me out with this puzzle. Did the makers Beck, Hassinger & Company of Straßburg (123) use two different types of stamp on their EKII's?
I purchased a very salty cross from the estand a while back which was sold as a '123'. The stamp on this one was not incused relief as on other 123's. I have been told that mine may be a 125 or 128 but the characteristics of the cross itself do not match either of these makers. As far as I can see, makers 120,122,123,125 & 128 all used incused relief on their stamps. So, can anyone tell what this one is?
Thanks for looking!
Regards - Danny
