My 1st RK by Juncker

Some time ago Richard Gordon showed us his 1st RK. Well now I know what his feeling was (I’m sorry Rich for nicking your title but I couldn’t come up with a better one).

A few weeks ago I received my first RK as well and I would like to share some pictures of it with you. The RK is an early Juncker and was awarded on 5 September 1940 to Heinrich Paepcke Oberleutnant and Staffelkapitän 7. Staffel III group Kampfgeschwader 30.
The RK came with proven provenance.

It took me quite a while looking for this beauty but it was definitely worth the wait.
I would like to thank Chris Jenkins and Gordon Williamson for their patience with me and all their expert advice. They saved me for some other deals and thanks to them I ended up with this beautiful RK. Thank you guys!!!

Do you know if the ribbon is the original???

Thank you magferran. This ribbon came with the RK when it was bought from the family and is an original ribbon. It is although not the actual worn ribbon belonging to this RK .
I think that ribbon is lost forever .
