clasp on back is broken? should I fix it?

I have an L/50 EKI and the clasp on the back came off. It was silver soldered by what looks like a 4th grader and I assume it will come off easily... I am thinking about moving it and am not sure if I should have it repaired or leave it as is....

that is up to you my good sir. but i would not attempt it yourself there's a very nice man in conservation and safe keeping that will do it for you and it wont brake the bank
