Looks like a casting to me. I'm sure others will respond soon.

            Hello.
May I know exactly what's wrong?
That would help me a lot

An original spange should have a nice smooth surface on the reverse regardless of the maker, at least on all of the originals that I have seen. (Although that's not a huge number.)

Perhaps that is where the aforementioned "casting" comment comes in.

BTW I see no evidence it has ever had the usual "frosting" finish one normally sees.

Hi Fabio personally for me colouration of the award looks wrong, poor detail too the date as well as other areas of the award. Reverse should be totally smooth, there also appears to be a mass of tiny holes covering front and back which would say casting. Reverse set up does not appear accurate. Just my opinions. All the best.

Poor quality. Looks casted. Fake in my opinion.

That's true as well. The flat raised surfaces such as the swastica and numbers should be perfectly smooth, achieved on a genuine spange by using a harder, denser base metal than whatever this one is made of.

                      Seller

My new politic is give back to the seller what he gives you.
So if it will be here proved 100% that this item is fake, I not only will give him all the negative publicity that he deserves to, but if you guys can gimme serious technical support when I have to bring to the court the proofs on the item I will sue him. I am a lawyer and I have a partner firm in Germany I work with!
Let's start with the gentleman name:

                      Sammler-Cabinett J******246;rg Kalies
                      Schauenburgerstr. 37
                      20095 Hamburg

Next step, if Mr Sebastian Bianchi gimme his permission, a formal legal letter with all the same opinons that you have just given to me and the invitation to this seller to came here and explain his technical reasons.
If he come not, see you in front of the Court.
                      Hope on your serious help.
                      Thanks
                      Fabio

Hi Fabio have you tried contacting the seller to see if he will take it back. It may have been a genuine mistake, unless of course all his items are fake. Dont think many people will get involved in legal matters these days, even the big dealers avoid them. I would try the soft approach first. Also the metal looks funny (could be the pics) does the award bend. Not too much prerssure as some casting just snap so be carefull. Good luck in getting your money back. All the best

let's see if it bends, this effect 'could' be thick plating/bubbling etc, let's cover all bases might not just be the obvious...
maybe comparing weights/measure and hardware also
                          regards
