Nice Mounted EKII - Maker Anyone?

    Hi Guys,

I've been looking for a nice single mounted EKII for some time now and have always missed out, been too fussy re: condition etc. or was not taken by the type of mounting.

This arrived today and I think it is a quite nice item and one that I am sure I will enter into my collection.

Good frosting and frames - rust free too.

Interestingly enough, the ribbon is the thinner Schinkle type.

I've tried to find a maker mark on the ring but everything is just bound too tight.

If anyone recognises the maker I'd be delighted to know.

I am sure it is not a Deumer, Wachtler & Lange or Walther & Henlein as I have these three in my collection and this does not reconcile to them.

    Thanking in advance !!!

    Regards ...

              Thanks Guys,

I made a choice on my collecting a year ago to follow the cliche:

              "...collect scarcity and quality..."

Most scarcity is out of my price range but I do concentrate on the quality aspect of the more common items.

Looks like I have a big weekend coming up looking through all the previous EKII threads to find the maker.

              Regards ...
