    Ek2 - K&q

Since Dion sold his RK I had to settle for the next best thing. EK's are not my specialty. Is this one OK? It weighs 18 grams and measures 44 mm wide and tall. Seems to be a decent example showing good patina and nice frosting. Magnetic core. I believe I read on the WAC that these are not silver crosses but actually composed of nickel. Is that right? Thanks, Richard

            Hi,

very nice example of a Klein&Quenzer iron cross 2. class

What you read is right. Nearly all manufacturers of iron crosses in WW2 used nickelsilver for the frameset.

            Regards
            Andreas
