The cross shown above lacks the wreath characterisitcs of what are considered wartime zimmerman DKiGs. There are many wreath differences, beyond dots, that are visible.

I have never had an example of the 'dotted' cross in my hand so I cannot and will not make any statement regarding authenticity.
There are clearly differences between what the (im)poster calls "accepted" and the 'dotted' cross in question. This in turn begs the question who accepts what? I know for a fact that "doug ford' (alis Tom Hansen alias walter hagen) never had a dotted cross in his posession and that his 'case' is based on what he things is 'accepted', based on pictures he obtained.
Now it might very well be that the dotted cross is a post war production. In that case Detlev Niemann and others were wrong and that also could very well be.
The prove for either side is still out there. However, the fact that DN sold one as genuine weighs heavy - right or wrong.
And before the 'great outrage' about 'slavishly believing" what DN say, starts, let me remind the people that a great "Hurrah" is evoked when the same dealer declares something that cements the believe of the exact same people.
Can't have it both ways, can't you?
