Look what was in the collection I just bought!

Hi Guys!
I found the coolest piece over the weekend. A friend’s father died about 15 years ago who was a collector also. He had collected since the war and everything he had was as good as gold, I say that since I am such a skeptical person. In his collection was the EKII in the second picture, it appears to have been converted into a RK. Pretty cool! I wish he was here to share the story of where he acquired it!

As you say Bob, too bad there's no history behind it...now it's just a converted - at some point, by some person - EK2.

I do feel it to be a period conversion however, without rock solid provenance which is now gone, we can only say so much.
