DKiG from new member

I would like to share this DKiG for comments. I found it in someone's junk drawer. It's a little beat-up and missing the pin but for what I got it for I can;t complain.
I was told it was a early deschler.
It has the name of Gobel on the back and I would like to know if a person could find out if there was a person by that name that was awarded the cross.
Also I would like to know about what the value would be for this find.
I've only been collecting for about a year now and have alot to learn.

Hi Mike.
IMO looks like you've got yourself a nice early Deschler, thin pin version (if it had one). Unfortunately finding the recipient won't be easy. There are 6 Gobel that were awarded the DKiG. 4 Heer, 1 Luftwaffe and 1 SS. Pity about the chipped enamel.
