I'm no expert in these, but some things look crude about this piece, notably around the edges.

Does it have a mm inside the pin? It does look like a roughly made S&L.

I do not like it, it looks like it is made from modern materials, and cut out on a CNC machine.
And the cirkular thing on the back side looks really strange, and the red enamal on the front looks liek paint.

This is my opinion.

I would say that it is definately an S&L DKiG. However, looking at it, in my opinion this is not a wartime produced piece. Some of the components of this item are reminiscent of the 57 versions of the DK, in particular the greyish coloured part of the star and the silver disc under the swastika. I have seen the strange circular pattern on the reverse on other one of these S&L crosses - and that one looks highly suspect as well.

Sorry, in my opinion an S&L piece, but not a wartime original.

Very crude fake me thinks.

The markings on the back yell out 'CNC' as well as plate behing the swaztika .

From the what it riveits are attached a would say it was based on this fake

I'd disgaree. The fake in the link you posted is much better looking than this one.

I still feel this is an S&L cross, but made up using some of the 57 DK parts, and as you rightly say, not particularly well put together or made. Either way, whether an S&L or something pretending to be an S&L, it isn't a wartime original.

This type original S&L meets with groups of documents. But nobody can tell, did S&L DK it in the late time of war or not.
