    EK2 - Opinion

    Hi everyone. Well, I woke up this morning and had a few emails from a colleague who looked over some scans of a few SS items I had and the verdict was depressing. That being said, I decided that I would list some other items here on the forum to get an informed opinion.

    First let me say that I am very much "green" in the area of collecting German militaria. For twenty years I have collected post WWII German police insignia, which as a result I came up with scattered pieces from the war. I would like to expand my collecting field and would appreciate any assistance in determing which items I have are authentic and which I need to disgard. I will be trying to list them under their own topics in the approriate catagories.

    With that in mind, I offer up a EK2 Medal for your review and comments. The ring is marked either 73 or 75. I need a better magnifying glass.

          After this mornings bad news on the SS items, I am at least breathing a sigh of relief over my other medals and insignia.
