"L/21" EK 1 on e-Stand

It's a well known fake that was found in great abundance five or so years ago. Orginaly when it hit the market it had no anti-rotation pin at the top. That was quickly addressed and now it can be found with and without. Only two known makers of EK1's marked the wheel device that holds the cross to the uniform and this is not one of them.
ChetZinc stinks!

i,m not a cross- collector but 2 years ago i bougt a simular one l21 marked
,low 1939, and that turned to be a floch- fake.....

the first time I saw this fake was in 1986, so it´s much longer in the market. They were first sold in auction houses like Hermann in Munich and many others as "old stock".
In that days many collectors thought they were original but they were given to the different auction houses by Mr. Floch.

I was with Steve in the understanding that only Rudolf Souval was the only maker to put the firms logo, L/58 on the screwplate. Read top of page 131 of 'The Iron Cross of 1939'.
