Real Nice EK1 - Klein + Quenzer Perhaps?

    Hi Guys,

Really nice unmarked EK1 but I'm trying to find the maker.

Looking through past threads my guess is Klein + Quenzer

Can anyone confirm or otherwise suggest an alternative.

    Many Thanks !!!

      Nice EK1

      The pictures are very small.
But it looks like a W&L (mm100 L/55) to me.

      Best regards,
      Luud

I agree - W&L. For whatever reason, their crosses have stood the test of time better than most.

            Thanks Guys !!!

I've put in some better photos but even in subdued natural light it is hard to pick up better detail - it looks a lot better than the photos suggest which obviously is a big plus.

The finish is indeed superb in this case! But I wasn't going to reply with Wächtler & Lange to be honest, as I cannot place the shape of the catch only. Can you provide another shot from an angle, Hagwalther? Just to verify if I am wrong or right

                  Cheers,
                  Laurens

                    Hi Laurens,

Couple of photos before I'm off to the rifle range for a 1000 yard shoot.

                    Will be back later.

Thanks for a quick reply and enjoy the next hours
But by seeing these additional shots, I'm still at loss with the catch. To the best of my (limited) knowledge, all crosses from W&L have a catch with a flat body and straight edges. I am not aware if they ever made catches with rounded edges like the example above.
I would be delighted if someone can add additional information or photos...

I found a couple of other threads which also seem to show W&L EK1s with the round wire catch...
