    Reverse- I had to lighten the scan because this cross is near mint. The "black" speckles on the frame is actually where it is burnished.

              wow, minty 100 EK2, easy because of the 'hump'
              and
              the spange is an early unknown, but I think we all agreed it looks so much like the later version by L/57 that it's a presumed unmarked one. A real beauty, and I'll take it in a heartbeat!

                    I don't collect these spanges so I have no idea about the maker.
                    But I like what I see.
                    This spange has the most beautifull mean looking eagle I have seen on a spange before.
                    Much better then the eagle on the ek2 spange.

                    And nice to see a first pattern in a condition that has seen some action.
                    (I do get a little bored of all the near minty's I see lately).

                            all the early zinc ones of this type I've seen, havn't got the wing veins (yours included Dennis ) and mine!
