Could you guys with the 'eagle eyes' please give me your opinion as to which type of KC is pictured.

    Thanks for your input.

I'd hazard a guess at S&L....it is the most common!

I think it is a Juncker.

I'm with Harry on this one Russell and not only because of commonality but a couple of points....

The 'shoulders' of the ring are a bit narrow for a Juncker and the tips of the arms are quite pointy. Juncker generally softened/rounded the tips a bit.

        S&L....likely

Thanks to those who offered an opinion.

I'll explain the reason behind the question.

In December 2004 I purchased a KC from one of our 'high-end' German dealer friends which was said to have belonged to Erhard Nippa. There was no solid providence but some circumstancial evidence which is:

Cross appeared on the market approxiamately 6 months after Heer Nippa sadly passed away.

Cross acomapanied by 2 original wartime photos dated May 1944 of Erhard probably with his parents. These must have come family.

Also an A4 sheet Military biography with a header address in Bellheim where Erhard Nippa died.

The cross is however a K&Q hence the reason for the question.

Thanks for the picture Russell! Clearly, the Cross shown in the picture isn't a K&Q...
