Has the case been cleaned or treated? Maybe it's just the lighting but it looks almost glossy...

It's just the lighting and after that... photoshop makes the rest with only a small approach and a little control of brightness and contrasts. The photo is almost without treating.

Really it have one photo technique too... in this case it is the angle with which the photo is taken. The light and the cross make the rest...
