    L/11 spange die flaws

    Hi guys,
we all talk about them, but here they are
I looked at about 40 1st class L/11 spangen, here and elsewhere, and tried to put together a rough time-line of the die flaw growing
I thought I may find out something new, maybe not, maybe a later flaw repair etc. but alas no. I did work out, what we already know! and that is: the nice unflawed early ones were either unmarked, or screw-backs, and the later ones were either marked L/11 or unmarked....
    regards

What a beautiful Deumer, Tim! Marked and all!

Jon, you are the master photo editer. Nice work, lots of it.

        Hi Robert,

Had that one for a few years already. There's a Deumer EK2 in even better condition with the marked packet of issue as well, but you need to do a search for those PICS. Amazing what we still have in the archives. New collectors really do have a lot of reference material if they would only look for it.

          Hello

Many thanks to all for this. A super timeline and reference for these bars.

          Regards
          David
