Souval frame on an '85' marked EKII?

Being offered to me is this distinctly Souval framed ring-stamped '85' EKII. Is this piece a post-war piece? I know Souval distributed his frames to others for post-war production. I could sure use some expert's advice on this. By the fit of the core to the frame (looking at the dates) it's obvious that the core was not made for the frame.

      Robert ... you sure that 5 isn't a "6"?

If it is a "6", flip the 86 upside down and you have "98" .. the number for Souval

You could be absolutely right, Darrell. I feel like an idiot. I knew Souval was '98'. It's a wonder I could find my shoes today. Thanks. I'll check the archives and check the numbers with others.

            Thanks Rick,

Now if we could just figure out the mystery... should I say the word... 'Juncker'.

You are not the only idiot here.
I threw mine Souval already in the Trashcan
I was lucky that I send pictures to a friend to say that I got fooled.

When he answered the same as Darrell I was ashamed bigtime that I made this mistake after 20 years (on and off) of collecting
And then the part came that I had to get it out of the trashcan

Here is a picture of mine mm98 with the same core as yours.

                Regards, Luud
