the more ornate stamping is period ! and i am susprised you have not seen it before , please take a look at page 58 of THE IRON CROSS OF 1939 by the mighty GORDON WILLIAMSON !!!

Original or Originell are both correct spellings of the adjective.

I have no problem with the stamp at all and I've one or two the same also.
