form the responce i am getting the ek2 helmet is sending looks fake. i have posted another form stewert willson the old brigade.. at the same link above. It looks like one that mads has. if any one else could take a look maybe frank or gordon?.,.......

thanks for the input. I will send it back when it get here. I have found one that matches and original that mads has from the old brigade stew wilson I have delt with him before and he is very acomadating.

Michigan, that spange from the old brigade doesnt match the one that 'Mads' fellow has..take another look.

They dont match

All I am saying is the one belonging to 'Mads' (on the left) is not the same as the one you displayed from The Old Brigade (on the right). I am NOT say either one is fake.

Look at the 1939 numbers, they are minutely different.

I really like the one on the left. I think that maybe your spange you are considering buying is worthy of a bit more research, thats all. Is it marked?

As usual, Mark's eyes are very good.

There are small differences in the numerals. Also look at the gap between the beak and the eagle's left wing.

Look also at the differences in the spaces between the right side of the second "9" and the border of the date bar. (I think the first date bar has a sharper angle on the top.)

Hi, guys.
IMO the eagle's heads are very different in design. Here is a badge that really resembles the spange to the right. Compare the heads. For that matter, compare every detail. They ARE the same.
