EK2 - Bandrosette

Hi Everyone,

I just wondered if anyone can explain to me the significance of the ribbon in the 'bandrosette' style, as can be seen on the EK2 below. This is the first time I have seen such a style of ribbon with the EK2 and I am curious to know when it would have been worn, and by whom.

Any and all help appreciated.

Sorry i got a strange one also but some parts off it is not ww2, so made war time ? I dont know, my one is a bit diff but has a silver monogram on it.
